A festival of cultures and flavors that, every year, makes San Vito Lo Capo, a renowned seaside location in the province of Trapani, the setting for the CousCous Festival.

The gastronomic event, now in its 22th edition, takes place in the name of cultural integration and peace among peoples, and involves chefs from all over the world, who prepare original couscous dishes and compete in joy. Thus, the famous fish dish of ancient tradition from Trapani assumes the role of intercultural bridge and, in the kitchens of the city, languages, cultures and religions meet together in the name of multiculturalism through food.

The international gastronomic competition is the heart of the event, and its most cheerful and colorful soul. In addition to couscous competitions, the program includes also cooking shows, tastings of typical local products, gastronomic workshops to learn how to make couscous according to the traditional techniques, free concerts and talk shows with prestigious guests. In the evening, until late at night, lots of music and fun in the square or on the beach.
